IWLGA CHAMPIONSHIPS 2021 - Guidelines.
Although changing and showering will now be permitted, we would recommend that players should still arrive changed for play and refrain from showering or changing to minimise time spent in the
locker rooms. To this end we are asking that players do not change for the presentation.
Toilets and wash-hand basins in locker rooms will, of course, remain in use. PLEASE NOTE, however, that the upstairs toilets may only be used by staff, members and visitors using the bar and catering facilities and cannot be accessed via the front door.
ENTRY TO THE CLUBHOUSE WILL BE VIA THE SPIKE BAR ONLY. Please then wait to be allocated a table BEFORE ENTERING THE MAIN CLUBHOUSE AREA. While you are waiting in the Spike Bar, if you have the NHS Covid-19 APP on your phone, please scan the QR code to log your arrival. This will also need to be scanned when you leave.
PLEASE USE THE SANITISER AVAILABLE ON ENTRY TO THE CLUBHOUSE
The Club has a legal obligation to collect details of all members and visitors entering the clubhouse for track and trace. These details will be stored, in compliance with GDPR, for 21 days. This will be via the BRS booking system (for members) – anybody using the clubhouse but not playing will be noted. In addition, and as mentioned above, if you are able to also scan the QR code this will be most helpful - an official NHS QR Code poster is situated in the spike bar so that visitors to the club can ‘check-in’ in online.
Face coverings must be worn by staff, golfers and visitors in all 'public indoor areas' of the club, as well as in the Pro Shop. Coverings may only be removed when seated in bar, patio and restaurant areas.
Food and beverage will continue to be provided as table service only. Please order your food or drinks once you have been seated.
The tables will be set up in tables of four (maximum). We do appreciate the Rule of Six, but to maintain social distancing and some control of this, we would ask that the tables and chairs are not moved to join up with other tables and must stay in the groupings as they have been set out. This includes the tables set out on the patio area. It is particularly important that people do not 'table hop' and merge with other groupings.
PLEASE NOTE Use of the clubhouse ‘may’ be limited to those members and visitors who are eating or drinking if the safe seating capacity is reached. Should there be anyone waiting for a table, please be aware that you may be asked to vacate your table, if you have been in the clubhouse for some time, to allow others to sit down.
PLEASE EXIT THE CLUBHOUSE VIA THE FIRE DOOR FACING THE 10TH TEE.
GENERAL NOTES FOR MEMBERS AS ADVISED BY ENGLAND GOLF:
Please help us to keep within the Law and abide by the rules.
All members and visitors should continue to follow the current Public Health England guidance on social distancing while playing and whilst in and around the clubhouse keeping a minimum of 2m apart at all times when possible.
Please try and be responsible for your own actions and follow these guidelines to protect the staff and ultimately the club.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Play Safe, Stay Safe and Enjoy Your Golf.
